The Opportunity:
How might we create a cohesive digital experience that could scale alongside Fortis Life Sciences’ rapid growth while making it easier for customers to discover products and information?
When I joined Fortis Life Sciences, the company’s digital presence was evolving alongside its rapidly growing portfolio of brands and products. My work focused on creating a more scalable, intuitive experience that aligned with the company’s future vision while making it easier for customers to find the information they needed.
One of my primary initiatives was redesigning the homepage to support the organization’s evolving messaging strategy. Rather than relying on a traditional marketing layout, I developed a flexible, widget-based design system that allowed content to adapt as the business grew while maintaining a consistent user experience.
Beyond large-scale initiatives, I led dozens of UX and interface improvements across the website. Every design recommendation was accompanied by detailed implementation specifications, providing product managers and engineers with clear documentation, interaction behaviors, and acceptance criteria. This process streamlined handoff, reduced ambiguity during development, and helped ensure a high level of design consistency across releases.
Another key project was leading a comprehensive information architecture overhaul. I facilitated an on-site cross-functional workshop to evaluate the existing site structure, identify pain points, and align stakeholders around a new organizational strategy. From those collaborative sessions, I restructured the website’s navigation hierarchy and redesigned the mega menu to better reflect how customers discover products and information. The result was a navigation experience that was more intuitive, scalable, and aligned with both user needs and business goals.
